Flix IPTV Playlist: Add & Manage an M3U (Samsung, LG, Android TV)

A Flix IPTV playlist is not added on the TV. The app shows you a MAC address, and you attach your M3U playlist to that MAC from a browser on your phone or laptop. Four steps, two minutes, and it works the same on Samsung, LG and Android TV.

What is Flix IPTV?

Flix IPTV is a free IPTV player app for Samsung and LG smart TVs (and Android TV / Fire TV). It does not include any channels: you add your own M3U or Xtream playlist from an IPTV provider through the Flix IPTV portal, and the app plays it with an EPG, favourites and a Netflix-style VOD layout. That is why the app is free but the playlist is not.

The steps below show exactly how to upload the playlist.

How to add a playlist to Flix IPTV (4 steps)

1. Open Flix IPTV on the TV. Write down the MAC address on its start screen. That is the app’s MAC, not the TV’s network MAC.
2. Open the Flix portal on a phone or laptop. The official address is flixiptv.eu/mylist (the app also shows it on the same screen); the page is labelled My List or Manage Playlist. Use only that address — never a lookalike site.
3. Enter the MAC, then paste your M3U URL. Copy it exactly as your provider sent it, including http:// and the port. Give the playlist a name and save.
4. Restart the app on the TV. The channel list loads within a minute. If you were given Xtream Codes instead, choose that option and enter server URL, username and password.

Flix IPTV playlist not loading? Check these first

• Wrong MAC. Use the one Flix displays, never the TV settings MAC.
• Cut-off URL. M3U links are long; a missing character at the end fails silently.
• Dead line. Test the same URL in VLC on a computer. Nothing in VLC means the subscription expired — the app is fine.
• Two screens, one line. Single-device plans drop the first stream when a second one starts.

Flix IPTV M3U: which link works

Flix IPTV accepts a standard M3U / M3U8 playlist URL. A working link usually looks like http://server:port/get.php?username=...&password=...&type=m3u_plus&output=ts. Three details decide whether it loads:

• Use type=m3u_plus when your provider offers it: it carries the group names and logos Flix uses to build categories.
• output=ts or m3u8: if streams freeze on one, change it to the other in the URL and save again.
• A file is not a URL. The Flix portal needs a link. A downloaded .m3u file has to be hosted somewhere first, so ask your provider for the URL instead.

Flix IPTV playlist: quick answers

How do I change or manage my Flix IPTV playlist?

Open the same portal page with the same MAC. Whatever is listed there is what the TV loads — edit or delete the entry, then restart the app. Keep one entry only so the app never opens on a dead list.

M3U URL or Xtream Codes — which should I use?

Both give the same channels. M3U is one long link; Xtream Codes is server + username + password and is harder to mistype on a phone.

What does Flix IPTV activation pay for?

The player only. After the free period the app asks for a one-off activation tied to your MAC. It never includes channels; the playlist is always a separate subscription. Only pay through the link the app itself opens — lookalike “Flix activation” sites are common.

Does Flix IPTV work without a playlist?

No. With nothing attached to the MAC it opens to an empty screen.
